Heartfulness Bhandara

A free 3-day meditation retreat at Kanha Shanti Vanam โ€” the world's largest meditation centre. Experience inner peace, satsangh, group meditation, and spiritual wisdom.

What is a Bhandara?

In the Heartfulness tradition, a Bhandara is a spiritual gathering where seekers come together for meditation, satsangh (spiritual discourse), and collective rejuvenation. The word "Bhandara" traditionally means a feast โ€” here, it is a feast for the soul.

Held at the breathtaking Kanha Shanti Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad, the Bhandara spans three days of guided meditation, talks by Daaji (Kamlesh Patel โ€” the global guide of Heartfulness), and deep inner exploration. All services โ€” including accommodation and meals โ€” are offered completely free of charge.

Thousands of seekers from across India and the world attend these retreats. Whether you are new to meditation or a long-time practitioner, the Bhandara offers a rare opportunity to slow down, go within, and connect with a like-minded spiritual community.

About Daaji

Kamlesh Patel โ€” Global Guide of Heartfulness

Daaji (short for "Daada-ji", an affectionate term for elder brother) is the fourth and current global guide of the Heartfulness meditation movement. He was appointed as the successor by his guru, Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari, in 2014.

Under Daaji's leadership, Heartfulness has grown into a global spiritual movement with millions of practitioners. He has overseen the development of Kanha Shanti Vanam โ€” a 1400-acre meditation campus โ€” and spearheaded initiatives in education, rural development, environmental sustainability, and wellness.

Daaji's teachings emphasize practical spirituality โ€” integrating meditation into daily life, cleaning the mind, and living with heartfulness in every action. His books, including "The Heartfulness Way" and "Designing Destiny", are widely read around the world. He regularly conducts satsanghs, retreats, and workshops that are open to all, free of cost.
